Our mobile phone review of the Samsung B3310 concludes that it is a fun phone, available in either a blue or a pink casing. It’s a phone for those who like to keep in touch with friends and family, and has a slide out QWERTY keyboard to make messaging easier.
The phone works over a GSM quad network band and will switch between networks making this a great phone to use wherever you are out and about.
With a fully charged battery the phone allows the user five hours of talk time and nearly 400 hours of standby time. The phone comes with an internal battery easily charged with the power charger that is included in the price.
The transfer of data between the phone and other hardware is high speed courtesy of the EDGE and GPRS technologies. The phone can be connected to other hardware with the use of USB connectors or Bluetooth wires but the phone will only transfer files to a Bluetooth device if the two devices are less than ten metres apart.
The B3310 has forty megabytes of internal memory that can be added to with a memory card.
The phone has a WAP 2.0 browser allowing the user access to the internet where they can check their emails or keep up to date with other live information.
The user can listen to FM radio, transfer CDs onto the phone or download music from internet stores; the phone also supports Java format games.
A camera and video recording facility add to this funky phone.
